Well he could have just stuck a decent heat sink on it with a quiet fan and he could have 1. had it quieter then his watercooling now. 2. could have it more easly portable/storeable. becides if it died because of overheating the warranty should have covered it still.

I understand overclocking if you get something good out of it but his project has way too many drawbacks to make it worth while.
