WebMasta33: one wants a HD waterblock because:
- fans are noisy. Yes, even top-notch-latest PAPST or Panaflo. When you turn them off you can feel the silence.
- HDs are noisy. You want to insulate them, for example with foam. This would lead to them overheating quickly (specially those 15000rpm SCSI beasts)
- so you want to cool them silently. Watercooling answers this

That said, a small block is enough, even hotter HDs dont produce *lots* of heat.
