might. The clarity is based on the raw silicone used to make it (GE supplies a lot of it). The question becomes what other industry or business sector has a need for clear silicone tubing? (i.e. business decision on the part of the tube makers) There might be one, don't know. Didn't ever really care if the tubing was completely clear
