ahhhh loL ...that would be the logical thing to do, keep the firewires and usb2s outside the case. huh usb2 now, i can see why firewire is sooo weird; apple thought that up, but usb2, that's microsoft's funkie thing. - so why don't se see interal usb2 bridges??!

hmmm but in contrast to scsi that isn't 1/2 bad... when a just one scsi-3 ribbon cable costs upwards of 50$ ewwy...

is a firewire drive *really* any faster than an ata-133 controler with a compariable drive? or is this all moot because of the crappy pci bandwidth?
