the thing about the water not accelerating is because the pump is not accelerating.
even in a frictionless system, the pump would still only produce a constant flow because of how motors work.

then then only heat added to the system would be from conact with the pump, which is really where all the heat comes from anyway.
coils produce heat as well as magnetic fields.

take for example a blower motor for an air conditioner, you really think that motor is making 1200watts of heat?
