I know BeCooling has the Jagged Edge that looks similar but the channels are vertical instead of horizontal like mine. And this one is only going to use a 1/4" wide by 3/8" deep channel. I just started on it this morning as I thought it up last night while browsing around and seeing blocks with 1/4" channels doing ok. So my goal here is to make a deep 3/8" channel and only 1/4" wide. That may make the water compress a little and absorb more heat on it's way out?
Anyway this block will be mounted with my Duron 1gig in my SX830 case which I have been staling on getting at. Being I am working on a Local job for work this week I may have some time to get it done. And I may pick up a LapTop today so I will have a comp to use while working on the SX. I may even try out a Acrylic top on this one being looks will be an issue(thats why I am using Copper aswell). I plan on putting in a Window on the side cover so it will be visable.
I actually think this block will handle a XP just fine aswell, but the 1gig morgan Dunron is all I need now anyway and quite is now an issue.
