I can test it at 1/4" deep and then 3/8" deep. 3/8 will only leave 1/8" for the base so I don't want to go lower. If it does work very well at 3/8" I may try it with a whole new block at the above steps as this one isn't about performance. As long as it keeps the stock Duron 1gig under 50C it will be just fine. Hell the Volcano 6Cu+ keeps it at 35C!!!. I like this CPU a lot. I set it to 133FSB and it is damn near as fast as a 1gig T-Bird being it is on the Morgan core which is the XP pretty much.
Just bought a LapTop today so I am going to get everything setup on it so I can tear into this one.
