Yes, but in addition to that there is a screw on 3/8" endmill holder that threads on where the collets usually go. That is my problem i would like to be able to use the collets and the lead screw like you describe, but the 3/8" thread on endmill holder is stuck on so I do not have access the where the collets would normally go at the bottom of the shaft of the spindal.
