I have the fans going through my BIX in a push pull configuration. In addition they are on a maelstorm rheostat. I usually have the fans on the lowest setting possible and get temps between 34-38 degrees celsius. If I crank up the fans to full strenght 12volts I get temps of 33-37. I'm only seeing 1 degree celsius improvements when I increase my airflow (and noise) by a factor of 2-3. Just a thought.
