This will be a modders dream next to the spiral water block!!! Classic looking design utilizing the steped acrylic top with an O-ring.
I wonder how thick the base to water channel area is? This is one major problem I found using a peltier with the spiral and acrylic top. The base of fix's spiral is appx 0.0625"(1/16"). When the pelt is attached with pressure, the base of the water block is thin enough to bow upward causing pressure on the acrylic top. One of the reasons why my top cracked.

personally I quite like it, the texturing on the bottom, the triangle over the core, all seems really really cool.
