I have one and its still chugging away. No issues at all, and I run it 24/7.

I didn't pay anywhere near 100 bucks for it. Might have been somewhere around half that. The eheim pumps just look a little too ghetto for me. It looks too big and bulky, and takes up a lot of real estate.

I kind of like the sound my pump makes (honest). Its kind of an underwater, muffled swishy sound. Not very loud at all IMO. My 120 mm fan is just as audible at about 7v.

Some of us are easier to please
