Quick wiring question: 12->7volt mod
Everyone speaks of running fans undervolted...
I know you can use a rheostat/ baybus to vary the voltage...(ps... what rheostat is needed to slow down a 120mm fan? How do you determine which to buy?)
I've also heard of hardwiring the fans at 7 or 5 volts. How is this accomplished, and which wire is which??
(this probably belongs in a different forum, but this one has the highest traffic, and I'm going to use the fan on a radiator & perhaps PSU, so it kindof fits... hehe.)
