Please check resistance of a new peltier, and compare resistance with ohm meter on leads of failing unit. That way you don't have to disasemble HSFPelt unit.
I have had such a fadeout, a peltier from last July 2000 Leufken. It was not potted and corroded green copper oxide.
Tom Leufkens now ships epoxy potted pelts.
Only non-potted pelts in WC kits is Jeremy at
www.silverprop.com He was advised, but he just started selling WC gear. He will find out in about six months.
