Those specs are why I said check closely what formulation of the Tygon you use

Notice two things from the R-1000 specs:

Minimum recommended bend radius:
1/2" ID, 1/16" wall thickness - 2-7/8"
1/2" ID, 1/8" wall thickness -- 1-3/4"

Also notice the rated working pressures, 10 PSI for the thin wall, 15 PSI for thick wall. (Both above what say a Ehiem 1250 can supply, but for anyone with larger / more powerful pumps, pay attention to those numbers for the Tygon you choose).
