Wow, that looks similar to mine... except i put the barbs on each end (Duh) and you do get a waterfall sound (drives me nutz). So i just keep it filled completely to the top, which deprives the water of O2 and keeps things from growing in my straight distilled water setup. there is just enough air in mine to make a shower of bubbles flow down into the tap, but not far enough to get air into the lines
I'm planning to paint the ends to make it look like a "Ninja Turtles" Ooze container... and of course i'll put "TGRI" on it
