gogo: I like DesignCad 2D a whole bunch.The main reason is the learning curve. For what i use it for its ideal .I must say though that the 2000 ver. of AutoCad has a much easier learning curve than previous versions , but

look at the price differance.If your just starting out in CAD , DesignCad 2D is the way to go IMHO.As you progress up the ladder maybe AutoCad would fit your needs better.Of course its nice to have the 3D capabilitys with the rendering features at hand , but I rarely need that function . OOPS
