...very informative. Depending on size, heater cores can be had for cheap. Look under Ford or Ford trucks for some nice cores 6 1/8" wide by however tall.  Find them here..

c people thing thats all u gotta spend...now say u dont have the hack saw to take those barbs off that are already on there (there goes another 15) say u dont have some jb weld (there goes another 7), the barbs (another 6), and also ur time (wont count that).... now the chevette one around here is 20bucks so that 20+15+7+6=$48 (not includingthe time).....now thats not including the stuff to make a shroud which would probably be another 20....so all in all when u think about it and work it all out the bix is really that much more i just got one from a friend who got his for about $72.....plus i just think the bix looks great...and if u want the heatercore to look like it from the sides add some paint to it which is about what 7bucks a can for auto spray....so if u didnt have any tools thats ~$75 for a heatercore....
