I have noticed that when I use the proper ammount of Water Wetter (ie a very small concentration) the silisone does not absorb it into the walls. However when I first started water cooling and used too much I got some perdy pink tubing in my system. Also I have noted Dye-Lite does not seem to be absorbed, even in too large a concentration.
