Ya know... Painting a case, no problem. Painting CD rom drives, no problem.
Painting these stupid removable HD bays I have... really really irritating!
I can't even pull out all the circutry because the ground wire for one is wired to one of the screw holes (metal mount) where you'd attach it to the case so it grounds it.
So I have to tape up the connectors, and just move it around alot to get good coverate without puddling it. Luckily any spray paint on the PCB won't matter, because it won't interfear with anything.

I'll post pics when I'm finished. But I've already applied paint around 8 times now, and it's finally evenly covered. --I paint sparingly, to make sure I don't get drips.
Then I've gotta apply clear coat. Just to protect it.
--Oh ____ (substitute in word of choice) I don't have any extra ATA100 cables.... Guess I'll have to go back out for that.
