midpoint will NOT do two pppoe connections, I ve been round and round with them. to use midpoint you must first be able to connect to two connection at the same time on the same computer" they dont tell ya that till later". there are alot of ways to load balance but if u cant connect two line there of no use. linux maybe able to but in 200+ hours of trying myself I've yet to find anyone that can do it. I've conntacted cisco "$2500 router pluse wan adapters = $3000??" and talked to a network guru that wrote the book "loadbalancing" but he could only tell me that it can be done on cluster servers, and called england and talked to the founder of Smoothwall a linux firewall/router and they say it would be nice but they dont know how. I just order a 800turbo to keep myself from lossing my mind trying to get it setup a "free" way. there i feel better, sorry for venting
