but this time a added alot of 91% isopropyl alcohol. maybe 1/2 cup+ to my 1/4 gallon system.
over the course of a month there was barely ANY pink in the silicone
not sure why this happened but its something to think about.

Alcohol is a GREAT solvent. Especially when it comes to dyes. Probably it has absorbed the dye in the water wetter and kept it out of the silicone if I had to guess about it.
