The following information came from an engineer that specializes in magnetic shielding for the aerospace industry. I might add, that I spoke with this fellow for almost a half hour. He was fascinated with overclocking and the idea of a home built watercooled computer.

A shield of 16 gage cold rolled steel with a gap between 3/8” and ½” between the pump and the shield is the first step. If this does not do the trick, a second shield of Mu metal, with a ¼” to 3/8” gap between the steel shield and the Mu metal shield. I hope the steel shield works as Mu metal is very expensive.
