because of the default mult on the 1.333 ghz athlon, all L1 bridges are closed, and hence the chip comes to you unlocked. I just verified this on my air cooled system.(1.33@1.45ghz)

Also, an old turbo button and wires can be hooked up to the bios reset jumper pins. That way, you don't have to remove your case if you selected too high of a setting and your system won't boot.
