Haddy, what I said was, 2 to 5 grand for a good quality CNC mill setup. Including all the stuff you will need to cut material. Such as vise, collets, endmils, software, material, and any odds and ends that may be needed.
But you can get the MANUAL version of jaydee`s SHERLINE for about $600 I beleive, then later you can spend the extra $1000 for the CNC conversion kit. But then you will still have to buy all the rest of the stuff for the machine to make it work.
All together I have somewhere in the ball park of $3500 invested in mine.
