Default What a week... (Cpufx rant type thread)

Oh the fun just keeps on going don't it. Damn Murphys law, I'm gonna go and kick him...

First off, I clean up my case really well (cabling) and I am quite happy. My fan connection for my rad came loose, my water was at 50C before I caught it, and my proc got to almost 80C. Ok, so I saved it. My chip was still alive, whew. Then, I mess up my windows install while installing a patch. Ok, np, I Have all my data on a seperate partition. Go to reinstall Xp... my floppy is dead. Not only is the drive dead (np, i got it for $5) but the floppy controler is dead... not great, but I can live with that. My sound also seemed not to work, but I couldn't get the drivers re-installed (thats how i killed it). I used a second computerto format my windows partition. I was putting my hdd back in and I bashed my inline temp probe (see Cpufx). the seal came loose while I was installing Xp. It dropped two drops onto my vid card (still safe... I think) and I grabbed a pair of pants from the floor (glad I didn't clean up) and held it under until the entire install process was done (god, 60 minutes...).

I pulled the entire system apart and am re-sealing the thing with "silicone II" adhesive. Man, looking at some of the parts, it looks like the anodising is comming off. (pictures to come in a day or too)....

Question:
Why do bad things always happen all at once?
How do I clean out "Foggy" hoses? They are slightly white, along with the cap on my res.

Right now, my hoses are soaking in a clr nockoff, please let me know of any other solutions.

-WireX (feel bad for me, please, I really need it right now)
