yea, you could cool 2 HDs with it no problem.
the end caps are brass plugs (threaded solid pieces of brass.)
i always leak test the hell out of my blocks (pressurized them with air, then submerge them in water to see if there are leaks.. if no air will leak.. then there is NO way water will), and these plugs are way more than sufficient.
