I have seen some Epox boards (8kha+) that would totally flake out after vmod until I cooled the mosfets (heatsinks + Arctic alumina epoxy). Don't know why, but their over currect protection seemes sensitive to the mosfet cooling. I could use a 1600+ at 2.1V and it would be fine, but the 1900+ and 2.1V would reboot. Cooled the mosfets and all was well again.
