As for the pump EM field, I ran my Magdrive model 2 (250gph) which is completely unshielded, 1" away from my hard drive for about 6 months, with absolutely no problems. I even ran 150FSB (37.5mhz PCI) and still had no problems. It was also like an inch from the motherboard at the same time..
