Well if it's tap it could be stuff in your water thats starting to harden and stick to your parts.

If it's distilled well then thats more difficult. In my own with super-coolant and distilled I still notice a small ammount of sludge but it is not hard and it comes out with enough fresh water flushed through it. Best guess for me is that the dye-lite starts to change things a bit as I notice that dye-lite will leave resedue in my system.
