I had mine running without a fan for a while until I mounted it in the case. I had the radiator and pump sitting on a milk crate beside my tower. when the radiator was laying flat there was enough convective(sp?) air flow to keep my T-bird cool at 1.4 (it's stock speed). it would get pretty hot under load however so I ended up putting a little desk fan under it (the clip on type) and all was well. I never tried overclocking with it set up that way however...but it sure was quiet.

BTW, i missed that pic before I posted, that is AWESOME!!!
