I noticed no real drop rheostating my DTek core's fan down to below the noise level of my combined powersupply/Deskstar. Running at about 40CFM is only 1-2 C different then running at 80 CFM, although my Duron is only using ~ 3/5 the power of a high end TBird.

Now I need to get around to undervolting the power supply fan (case temp is now basically room temp thanks to a few undervolted L1As and a GPU block).
