mannnn..... rios are not that bad. I have a salt water tank with 4 rios in it, they've been runnin non stop for about 3 years now. Let me tell ya they have a lot of crap runnin through them all the time. Not only that but my brother works for a fish store, out of all the pumps they sell they sell rios the most. I asked if they get a lot returned, they don't.
