Reliability - unmatched
Performance - one of the best. Dont look at GPH (there was a thread in this forum i think about this) the real performance of a pump is under load. Eheims manage high loads with no problem where other pumps (like Danners) will crumble and produce no flow. Again this is based on the experience of several users who compared an Eheim vs another pump under the same conditions.

Agreed. I'd just like to see a performance chart for those Eheims, and since Eheim doesn't publish one, I'm not going with it.
For those interested, the 1250 is rated at 317 GPH, at 0 head. Actual flow rate drops to somewhere around 150 GPH in many rigs reported throughout this forum. This is normal, but it does indicate :
1- There's a big pressure drop through a rig (so keep it tight and straight)
and
2- A pump will not operate at it's rated GPH, because that's usually a 0 drop measurement. Each pump will perform differently under pressure, because of design.
