i know people have used this humidifier bacteria treatment in bong setups and it's been effective (especially since bong setups get a lot more bacteria/algae growth). it seems like it'd be great for any watercooling setup without any of the possible negatives of windshield wiper fluid, chlorine, or bleach.

Ok, so you setup a closed system, with a tiny hole on top of the res (for pressure differences), and a floating lid on top of the liquid, which will minimize evaporation. Voila.

That product seems fine, first hand, but I'd have to know more. Right now, what I see is a white bottle labeled "Bacteria treatment". For all we know, it's got bleach in it...
