I been running one of these WD 8Mb drives (120GB) for a bout 4 days now, and yeah, it flies!

But i cant seem to find any software that will allow me to monitor the drive temp using athe on board sensor i thought the new WDs came with. - anyone know of an app that will give me the real time temp of the drive? Its becuase i want to put it into a SilentDrive enclosure and am worried about the drive getting too hot. just want to monitor it.

I tried a few apps off the web like HDD Temperature, but it says it cannot find any supported drives (!!?? - though WDs had SMARTS and all that jazz).

Tried WDs own tools, but came up with some shite DOS utility to create a disk, only works on 9x and ive got 2K. And i didnt want to create a bootable disk. - just a windows app that gives drive temp.

Anyone have anything they use and like for this??
