Well, the project (a watercooling system built from scratch) is in its early planning stages. I want to make the system as quiet as possible. I plan to put the rad/fan to the "upper floor" of a big tower case and attach an exhaust air duct. The exhaust hole in the back panel does not have to be the exact size and shape of the fan/rad. Also, I want to cover all internal surfaces (the duct walls too!) with vibration- and sound- absorbing material. I hope this will be better noise-wise than the conventional "surface" placement of fan/rad. I am going to make a neat relay-controlled socket for the Eheim, but will I watercool the PSU? Not sure yet.
Any remarks/suggestions?
