It's alive!!!...my board is ok.

The other day I was screwing around in my case, and I accidently bumped the wiring for my memory volt mod.

Anyway, there was a spark, the board shut down, and it wouldn't restart.

My first thought was the Samsung was dead, but it checked out ok on my other board, along with the cpu, vid card, etc.

I figured it had to be the regulator, or a mosfet that went south, so I ripped the board out, and pretty much had myself convinced a new board was my only choice. (8K3A was where I was looking...nice voltage options)

So there I am, refiguring my budget inside out, getting depressed that I didn't have the cash for a new board...or to manage it, I was gonna be on bread and water for a few weeks.

I decided to give it one last shot...and something told me to try the cmos. I swapped the chip from the good board, and the damn thing fired right up.

Time to do the old hot-swap bios flash.
