I just thought of a GREAT analogy.

1. Take a straw. Blow through it.
2. Take 2 straws. Blow through them.
3. Take 2 straws and stack them. Now blow.

Tell me the results.

Whats that you say? 2 straws in parallel are easier to blow through? Wow! But the air flows only half as fast through each straw? Oh. Well thats good!
