Default Clean inside waterblock

Does anyone know of a good way to clean out the inside of a waterblock? The temperatures of my system don't seem too spectacular, and since the block is third-hand... I'm just not sure if it could be crap in the channels. It could also be that someone tightened the barbs too much, because the flow doesn't look spectacular after I plug in the blocks.

For the sake of completeness, it's an Athlon XP 1.53 @ 1.67 and a GF3 ti200 (other parts are in sig). Ambient is probably around 26*C, CPU @ 37*C. Seems a bit high to me, but who knows.

Thanks in advance.
