Go to your local hardware store and get nylon 3/8 to 1/2 hose fittings and a couple of clamps. Add 1 ft of 1/2 hose for spacers and you're gold. It might help water feed through the pump (lowering it an equal amt in resistance on the other end) and prevent internal turbulence (which lowers flow and raises heat).
