Default A7N266C Mobo Temps Faulty!

Well folks, I hate to tell you but, if you own an ASUS A7N266C mobo... your Temp readings are misleading...

I came in after a nice night of socializing, and I forgot that I had left the industrial air conditioner on! My AMBIENT air temps dropped to a chilling 21.8C, but guess what? Asus's mobo probe says that I'm still IDLING at 40C, while my NorthBridge is at a cool 31C. Check my other posts about this and you'll see that, that 40C idle temp was ALSO recorded while the ambient was a blistering 90.1F!!!! Now some of us have not had the basic physics and thermodymanics courses, but ANYONE can see that there is definately something wrong when you are idling at the SAME temp when it's 21.8C AND when it's 31.77C+... It is NOT physically possible to idle at 40C when the ambient temp has dropped 10degrees BELOW the normal avg temp!

I know that I should get a sep temp monitor or a fancy SMbus reader, but I have not the funds nor the time to invest in making one... can someone PLEASE explain these ridiculous temps!? Thanks

BTW- I'm running 1/2 lines to the Pump, CPU and 3/4 lines from Rad unfortunately going pump---CPU---Rad---Res...soon to switch to Pump---Res---Rad---CPU etc.
