But then you are paying 70 dollars for basically just the compressor..

When you can easily get a compressor from an AC unit or dehumidifer thrown out in the garbage.. But then it's going to be an older unit which is like R-22 or R-12.. So in the long run it's better to get that 70 dollar frige and basically pay 70 for just the compressor because it will be a new frige which runs on R-134a which is easily obtainable at any wal-mart or auto store for about 5 dollars a 12oz can.. unlike the 60 dollars you would have to pay at an auto repair place or something for 16oz of r-22 or what not.. You get the drift.

R-12 and R-22 = hard to get

R-134a = very easy and cheap to obtain.. and work with.
