you'll probably strip the threads before you destroy the pelt,, best thing to do is to get them all tight enough to just barely hold the pelt,, then tighten them a 1/4 turn at a time or so,, alternating one across from the other like you're supposed to do with lug-nuts on a car tire.. Untill you have real good pressure on the pelt... but dont strip the screws
