From what I hear, copper is basically just a "trend" with possible slight benefits over Al... But it's far more common to find blocks in copper now, the benefits are debatable but if you want performance to the 'n'th degree then I suppose copper would yeild the best results. But there are lotsa Al blocks out there performing nearly as well as the Cu.

However, I'm not toally sure what this PVC endcap business is.
