my money is on the cranky/cheap mobo diodes. you know how inaccurate they are. sometime they can go up to 5 degrees in difference. also because of their placements often they would be measuring components somewhere on the mobo that doesn't get cooled by the cpu cooler, thus getting higher temps than the actual CPU temp. If you can OC good and the thing is stable, i don't think temps are THAT important
