The 9700 may well kill the GF4, however, that does not excuse their 'benchmark control'.
Yet at the same time I can see them not wanting 'solid' numbers put out yet as the product isn't finished. word spreads quickly, good or bad, though bad spreads quicker.
Gotta love human facination with the negative.
I look at it like this. The card definately has potential. I'll wait until after it's been out a little while, see some real numbers, then maybe I'll buy one.
Then again, I'm still using a GF2mx. Maybe one day I'll get time to upgrade mine instead of everyone elses.
