thx bigben for the ideal temps, but this is a 'what if' scenario.

here is what i plan on adding:
http://www.techmocracy.com/extremeco...ltagemod.shtml (Orthello's article)
http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/a7v133/ (Visionary's article)
http://www.overclockers.com/tips386/ (UnaClocker's article)

i honestly dont like the dip switch idea though.... i dont like having the ability to give the proc a variable voltage. but a duron 700 at 1ghz is a very inspirational feat. All of the pages mention putting a resistor on the voltage controller chip on the riser card to ground. this seems to be the biggest boost. Also, it seems that the voltage tends to swing a lot. is this ok???

i crunched some numbers with Radiate, and im getting almost 500 watts of heat at the 4v mark at stock (1.46GHz), but that gets even worse at the 2ghz mark, which is what im shooting for.
The amount of heat hits 665 watts.... Would a 220watt peltier handle this at either speeds?
