I'd be very surprised if that pump (or any other common pump used for watercooling) was able to produce even 5 psi. At that low pressure, you've really nothing to worry about in terms of having hose slip off of barbs. My pump is a bit more powerful than most (9.5 psi cutoff) and I have no problems in my system... I even leaktested with no clamps without issue. However, for peace of mind, always use clamps
