I can't really say... what I can tell you is it doesn't appear as though the maze2 adds any large restriction to flow as bubbles in the water appear to be moving as fast as if its bypassed (very fast).

I have a maze2, mag-drive 350 and homemade big-momma all on 1/2" and sometimes I'm not sure if its running as it's hard to actually see things moving there going so fast.

I'd say even a smaller pump would be the same (maybe back to my 250) as then less contribution of heat from pump
