Default Loving the Innovacool at 1/2"ID

I first installed the Innovacool kit with the standard crappy 8mm ID tubing, only to find out that the backpressure of this setup made my Eheim 1048 work like crazy, and vibrate like it really wanted another purpose in life.

I swapped the Maxxxpert rad for a BIX, replaced all the Innovatek fittings with chrome barbed 1/2" fittings, and used 1/2"ID Tygon tubing. Attached a low speed 120mm Papst fan to the BIX (at 7V), hooked it all back up, and boy what a difference!!!

With the 1/2"ID tubing and the BIX the Innovatek blocks really shine! With aircooling I got temps of 42C idle, 50C load. With this cooling setup I get 29C idle, 33C load. Case (mobo) was 42C, is now 40C.

I am quite satisfied with this setup, it is WHISPER quiet!
